Law Firm Information Governance Symposium

What is LFIGS?

Iron Mountain established the Law Firm Information Governance Symposium (LFIGS) in 2012 as a platform for the legal industry to create an Information Governance (IG) roadmap unique to law firms. A steering committee of five law firms guides the mission and direction of the symposium. The symposium offers definitions, processes, and best practices for building law firm IG. The reports are authored by law firm leaders and subject matter experts from the service provider community.

Want to become an active participant in the LFIGS community?

Our community welcomes experienced legal industry IG leaders who will actively contribute knowledge and insights to the profession as follows:

  • Participate in the development of one of the annual white paper teams
  • Join calls with the LFIGS community approximately every other month to connect and collaborate on relative topics or broader law firm IG discussions
  • Contribute to the delivery of webinars either as a content expert, moderator, panel member, etc.
  • Participate in an annual symposium event (typically in-person) focused on paper development and industry thought leadership discussions

Please download the form and submit it to the LFIGS Membership Development Subcommittee.
