Iron Mountain Policy Center 5.4.5 Release Notes
Release 5.4.5 addresses a number of enhancements and anomalies regarding the Policy Center Application. Policy Center v5.4.5 includes versions 5.4.4 and 5.4.3.
Enhancements and Anomalies Addressed
- When loading a customer Company Logo, no matter what size the logo is, the application was converting the image to 132x20px and displaying the following message "The image was resized to fit within the maximum allowed dimensions of 135x30 pixels." Now, the application correctly maintains the aspect ratio when resizing the image. (Support Item 2417)
Policy Center Improvements:
Within the Mappings>Retention Schedule screen, CustomView names long/wider than the View dropdown can now be fully viewed by hovering over the name which will display a tooltip containing the full name
The Citation Tag "Record Type" has been deprecated. It will no longer be visible in any User Interface.
Recently, Retention Schedule Users (role) were unable to use Search (Quick Search) or download reports that were posted in the "Reports" tab. This issue has been resolved. (Support Item 3837)
In some instances, Citations were duplicated in the Citation Library. This anomaly has now been addressed (Support Items, 3712, 3835, 3861)
Within the Mappings>Retention Schedule>Organizational View, Data Owners with State = Enabled and Role = Organizational Unit are now shown correctly, they are NOT hidden (grayed-out with red asterisk) as previously reported. (Support Item 3190)
When using Filters in Policy Center and highlight only Citations with "Min Period Rational", different filter and search queries now produce correct results and search hits (Support Item 3716)
Within Mappings>Data Map, with view set to Organization, certain combination of SelectVisible were not displaying correctly within the columns of the main view. This anomaly has been fixed. (Support Item 3647)
Within the Admin>Maintenance screen, if the "Min Period" is set to display via the SelectVisible function, the application will now display valid integer values. (Support Item 3891)
When opening a Citation in the Mapping>Retention Schedule view, the Legal Tags sections is now visible. This section is very helpful when conducting clean-up of citations mappings. (Support Item 3876)
Within the Taxonomy>Records Classification screen, the SKP field character count now operates correctly. (Support Item 3633)
Odd browser behavior in some Customer instances has been fixed. The behavior was resetting filters and defaulting to different than the screen being used. (Support Item 3737)
In some cases, the rollover box that is displayed when hovering over a record class/business function comment gets "stuck" and does not display the correct information. Now, it updates and displays the record class code. (Support Item 2758)
Rendering speed of the Citation Library and Mapping popup has been improved. (Support Item 3587)
In the next version of Policy Center, within Admin>Settings>Customization>IG Portal Customization, the "Light" and "Dark" portal Themes functions will be deprecated. A new portal Customization function will replace these functions and provide more color- theme customization enabled Customers to match their corporate color pallets more closely.
Microsoft Internet Explorer Advisory
- As of January 1, 2017, Policy Center, Enterprise and Professional Editions, will support only Microsoft Internet Explorer v11 and Google Chrome (Version 52.0.2743.116 m and above).
- As you may know, beginning January 12, 2016, Microsoft has been supporting only the most current version of Internet Explorer (v11) available. Internet Explorer 11 is the last version of Internet Explorer, and will continue to receive security updates, compatibility fixes, and technical support on Windows 7, Windows 8.1, and Windows 10.
- This policy is in-line with previously issued maintenance notifications for the Iron Mountain Policy Center.
