Accelerate RIM Contribution

Many law firm records leaders have a vision of how their records management programs can drive cost savings, risk mitigation and improve efficiencies for the firm, but need help accelerating achievement of their goals. For example, some firms still need to finalize a media-neutral records policy and update their retention schedules to manage document destruction and comply with professional and changing regulatory requirements. Other “accelerators” are in the midst of “re-engineering” their records team to manage both paper and electronic records, and to support the firm-wide effort to centralize all records into the official document repository for efficient access and governance.

Accelerating evolution of the records management program can:

  • Increase client satisfaction, with faster information access for efficient client services
  • Lower record storage costs with defensible destruction/retention
  • Reduce risk with better control and governance over information assets
