PRISM International
Iron Mountain participates in industry associations as a way to keep
current with emerging standards, best-practice approaches and new
technologies in its field. Additionally, involvement in trade groups
enables the company to continually improve and to fulfill its
leadership responsibility to educate businesses on managing their
information and keeping it safe.
One organization central to the field of commercial information
management is PRISM International (Professional Records &
Information Services Management). PRISM International is comprised of
service providers like Iron Mountain who supply their customers with
physical and digital information protection, access, retention, storage
and disposal. Iron Mountain is proud to have been a founding member
since the non-profit formed in the early 1980s.
This year, Iron Mountain's Neal Goldman, vice president of industry
relations, was elected president of the Association. A nearly 30-year
veteran of the information management industry, Goldman has been a
member of PRISM since 1989. In that time, he has served in numerous
functions, including as its vice president and as chairman of the
government relations committee. Under his direction, PRISM will work in
2008 to expand its global membership and to keep members abreast of
ever-growing regulatory affairs impacting the industry.
