Iron Mountain Server Backup & Recovery is the leading industry solution for distributed server data protection.

Server Backup & Recovery enables you to:

  • Quickly implement server protection without capital outlay
  • Reduce burden on your IT staff
  • Improve server Recovery Point Objectives (RPO) to as little as 15 minutes
  • Dramatically improve server Recovery Time Objectives (RTO)
  • Encrypt in transmission and storage, without compromising recovery speed
  • Implement an affordable solution for server online backup

Reduce costs and enhance efficiency with byte-level backup

Server Backup & Recovery is delivered using market-leading LiveVault® technology. This solution allows backup of critical files (databases, applications, email servers and operating system files), including open files. Following an initial backup of your full system, only byte-level changes and newly created files are backed up. This greatly reduces server loads and enables highly efficient bandwidth usage.

Fast, flexible recovery options

By providing backup for open files along with continuous data protection, Server Backup & Recovery reduces recovery points to about 15 minutes. Delta restores – where only byte-level changes are restored – enhance RTO, so you can recover individual files in minutes via Internet. Optional TurboRestore onsite appliances enable rapid site-level recovery, protecting you from all but a complete site loss. For large disasters, all your backup data can be quickly retrieved on physical media and transported to your chosen recovery location.
