Red Flags and Other Privacy Compliance
Priorities for 2009

On-Demand Webcast
Recorded Thursday, April 16, 2009

Guest Speaker: Charles H. Kennedy, Of Counsel, Morrison & Foerster LLP

IMPORTANT NOTE: at the time of this Webcast’s production, the enforcement deadline for the FACTA Red Flag Regulations was May 1, 2009, a date that is reflected throughout this recording. However, on April 30, 2009, the FTC extended the deadline to August 1, 2009, allowing financial institutions and creditors additional time to respond by developing and implementing identity theft programs.

Regardless, this complimentary Webcast provides valuable insight into the pending impact of the Red Flags Regulations and how companies should effectively respond. This Webcast also highlights the current administration's priorities regarding other forms of privacy compliance and protection. The message is clear: privacy compliance will become an even greater priority for U.S. businesses, regardless of size or industry, in the coming years.

As a registrant to this on-demand Webcast, you will also receive a copy of “The Red Flag Regulations: A New Front Opens in the War on Identity Theft” (Adobe Acrobat required). This white paper has been edited to reflect the current enforcement date of August 1, 2009.
