In a recent article on Data Center Frontier Michael Goh related some of the reasons why data center capacity is growing so quickly in the Asia/Pacific region. Among them are rapid advancements in consumer applications of mobile commerce and the huge populations in countries like India and China that still have relatively low data center capacity. While the COVID-19 pandemic will cause some slowdown in growth projections, the long-term prospects are still very bright for companies that are building data centers in the region.
