Manufacturing plants in Pune and Nasik are ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified. In addition, the company has two engineering competency centers for compressors and construction and mining equipment. Atlas Copco (India) Ltd provides its customers with the solutions they need to enhance productivity and achieve their manufacturing goals.

The Challenge:

Over the years, the customer had collected massive documents, maintaining a philosophy of decentralised record management with no standardised system for storage or retrieval. As a result, there was no reliable or timely access to even the most active, necessary documents. With government mandates and other regulatory requirements, it also became clear that the customer needed to sharpen its focus on compliance preparedness and mitigating the risks and costs of litigation. Also with increasing records cost of maintaining records, real estate cost was increasing day by day. Therefore, the customer needed to enact significant changes in its records management methodologies and processes.

The Solution:

Customer selected Iron Mountain to help streamline and deploy a consistent program. Before going for signing an agreement with Iron Mountain for Records Management Service customer was already using Iron Mountains Off Site Data Tape storage service. On the basis of the experience and the commitment they have witness they chose to opt for another service which is managing their day to day increasing records.

In whole process of giving ideal solution for their records, core responsibility for the onsite Records Manager was making a streamline process for quick retrievals. Now Iron Mountain was accountable for aligning both services of the customer, digital as well as paper and which we have done effectively.
