How Crozier is Advancing Sustainable Logistics Practices

Our Crozier fine arts storage business was recently cited in The New York Times for its efforts to lower the art industry's carbon footprint.

Iron Mountain recognizes the importance of sustainable business practices in all that we do, including how we transport fine art. Our Crozier fine arts logistics and storage business was recently cited in The New York Times for its efforts to lower the art industry's carbon footprint through a pioneering sea-freight partnership with Christie's auction house. The service aims to reduce carbon emissions by 80 percent as compared to air travel.

Simon Hornby, SVP and General Manager, Crozier Europe, shared how the partnership can help advance sustainability practices among clients, saying "the new system 'offers sufficient amounts of information, data and reliability to help clients shift to a more climate-conscious mind-set.'"

Iron Mountain acquired Crozier in 2015 and has been steadily expanding the business through acquisition and organic growth.
