The Iron Mountain Charitable Foundation was founded in 2005 and since then has helped hundreds of Mountaineers and contributed to projects in the communities where we work and live. The Richard Reese Employee Relief Fund helps employees impacted by catastrophic events such as house fires, natural disasters, and other personal tragedies and more than $500,000 has been distributed. The John Jamison Iron Mountain Education Fund annually awards students of Mountaineers with four year scholarships to continue their education after high school.

Board Members and Leadership

Neal Goldman - President

"At Iron Mountain, we believe that our employees are the core of our business. What began as a grassroots effort to support Mountaineers affected by Hurricane Katrina has evolved into a company-wide effort of Mountaineers helping Mountaineers. The foundation is a true testament of commitment, spirit and culture of the Mountaineer community."

Ty Ondatje - Vice President

"Iron Mountain employees have a long history of taking care of each other.  Through the work of the Iron Mountain Foundation we continue that tradition.  Whether we are helping employees and their families after a tragedy or providing support for the children of our employees to attend college it is a privilege to be part of such important work"

"Growing up my parents instilled in me the idea of giving back to the community as a lifelong pursuit.  Serving on the Iron Mountain boards allows me to help the dedicated people who make up this great company and provide them and their families relief during times of great stress.  This is the spirit of Iron Mountain at its best."

Bao Tran - Treasurer

"The Iron Mountain Foundation gives me the opportunity to make a broader difference, beyond business.  It’s such a rewarding experience knowing that our works make positive personal impacts on others."
