The Challenge:

Using internal resources or hiring new ones to manage the purchase invoices was a worry to the customer as it was causing deviation from the core business. Managing team, training them for auto invoice process, installing required machineries, using available resources for imaging was costing huge to the customer.

Even after managing all process in-house, there was no reliable or timely access to even the most active, necessary documents. Therefore, the customer needed to enact significant changes in its “Purchase Invoice Automation” methodologies and processes.

The Solution:

The customer selected Iron Mountain to help streamline and deploy a consistent program, leveraging over 63 years of Iron Mountain leadership and expertise in Information Management, as well as its geographical footprint.

Iron Mountain recommended a long term solution for Geometrics ongoing process of managing accounts payable invoices by setting up scanning exercise for them. Iron Mountain collates invoices generated by Geometric, scans all invoices upload it to Geometrics’ server and file them in a systematic manner. Geometrics’ team can easily access all their invoices.

A key component of the program was the Account Manager who persuaded the deal and won the trust of the customer. Iron Mountain helped Geometric Limited to save the major “Cost of In-house Information Management” and eliminated “Risk Factor” Geometric says,” Iron Mountain simplified process of maintaining proper inventory and gave us easy access to our Information.

The Results:

With an established, consistent Information Management program from Iron Mountain now in place, the customer is able to integrate the management of most active and rarely use information, improve process efficiencies, and enable immediate access to stored information. The customer has already increased focus on its core business and it now more effectively manages the cost and resources for the right work.
