We recognize that, like us, our customers are working toward sustainability goals, and as a key part of their supply chain, we have an important role to play. A crucial aspect of this role is ensuring that we uphold a responsible supply chain. We are focused on supplier engagement and developed this hub to help educate our suppliers about our climate commitments and provide resources to support them on their own sustainability journey.
Your three-step journey to setting science-based targets 
In alignment with our Scope 3 supplier engagement target validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), we are engaging our suppliers and encouraging them to adopt their own science-based emissions reduction targets. SBTi provides a rigorous framework for companies to set decarbonization targets that align with the latest climate science and the 1.5°C goal of the Paris Agreement. Through its independent validation process, SBTi ensures that corporate commitments are backed by measurable evidence rather than just well-intentioned rhetoric.
By measuring and reducing their emissions, our suppliers will help refine the accuracy of our Scope 3 emissions inventory and collectively contribute to Scope 3 emissions reductions.
Conduct an initial greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions inventory. As the gold standard for carbon accounting, the Greenhouse Gas Protocol provides globally recognized frameworks and guidance for organizations to effectively measure, track, and manage their emissions. Science-based targets require a base year against which emissions reductions are measured. This baseline should be representative of a company's standard operations.
