How do you currently dispose of your IT storage media?

Secure onsite shred services from Iron Mountain Asset Lifecycle Management provide a convenient and streamlined solution for organizations to dispose of their IT storage media. Because of our extensive experience and end-to-end approach to asset lifecycle management, we’re able to help organizations with their IT asset disposition projects, meeting NSA and DIN 66399 security compliance standards.

Through our secure onsite drive shredding service, you can rest assured knowing your assets are disposed of securely and sustainably. When it’s time to safely disposition your IT assets and media, our experts come to your location and shred your assets onsite using our secure mobile shred units. Offsite shredding at our secure facilities is also available backed by a verifiable, secure chain of custody from pickup to disposition.

Assets accepted for onsite or offsite shredding include:
  • SSDs up to DIN 66399 E-5 and just 1mm² from the E-6 standard
  • HDDs up to DIN 66399 H-4
  • Tape media up to DIN 66399 T-1
  • Optical media up to DIN 66399 O-2

After we shred your drives, the remains are then recycled in accordance with all regulations and best practices. We ensure compliance and provide a Certification of Destruction (COD) for each asset.
